2. Which grades are offered at AAIS?

We're a complete K-12 school at both campuses - T.Nagar and ECR. As Chennai's first IB PYP school, we've been at this for over 15 years.

3. Are there After-School Programs?

Yes! We offer a variety of after-school activities at both campuses. Details are shared at the start of each academic year.

4. What are the school timings?

* Extended hours available for Toddler & ELC1 at no extra cost if an older sibling is enrolled full-day.
Toddler to Grade 5: Monday to Friday
Grades 6-12: Monday to Friday + one Saturday a month (for sports and house competitions)

5. What sports are available?

Our PE programme builds balance, endurance, strength, flexibility, coordination, and teamwork. Students have access to Cricket, Futsal, Football, and Badminton.

6. What co-curricular activities do you offer?

Performing Arts (Music, Theatre), Visual Arts, and Physical Education are built into the timetable from ELC1 to Grade 8. From Grade 9, students can choose Art & Design, Visual Arts, or Sports as formal courses.

7. Is there a school uniform?

Yes - and we've put thought into it. Our uniform is simple, comfortable, gender-neutral, and designed with our senior students and a leading fashion brand.

Green-Grey on regular days and the Orange-Grey or Student-House colour & Grey on days when there is PE in the timetable. Early Learning Centre students wear uniform about three days a week. Older students wear it daily and when representing the school.
